Dublin is a cosmopolitan and modern capital city though an ancient soul and a Celtic heart. Dublin has a Viking origin; its whole story is visible on the façades of old and beautiful buildings, from elegant Georgian residences  to crowded and worldly restaurants and bars of Temple Bar.
Only just out of the town, we find its castles, its noble residences and the bracing see breeze; as Glendalough  with its important remains of Gatehouse monastery, the country house and the gardens of Powerscourt, the beautiful castle of Malahide and the picturesque village of Howth Head.
