Watershow NEW
In the theatre which I have followed for a very long time, aiming to document the most significant aspects both from a theatrical point of view and from its photographic transportation, you can find a lot of performances where water has been utilised, with more or less original meanings.
In my opinion, the most significant “watershow” performances are “Caos”, by the Milanese company “Quelli di Grock” and “Waterwall”, by the company “Materiali Resistenti” of Bergamo. In the last scene of “Caos”, a great whirlpool, produced by the actors, spreads over the stage, assuming a very successful narrative value, that exceeds the extraordinary spectacular performance.
The photos published here are a little selection of the expressive and spectacular possibilities of water use in the theatre.
